The child of God is a true worshiper not only in song, but in lifestyle! Scripture also states that the Father is enthroned on the praises of his people. What an honor to be able to sing to the Almighty God, who created the whole universe! Praising and worshiping Christ is one of the strongest weapons we have in midst of trials and temptations! Let us be reminded of Paul and Silas, as they prayed and sang hymns while incarcerated for the preaching of the gospel. It was then when the earth trembled and "prison doors flew open" (Acts 16). They saw the greater picture of what God would do...bringing souls to Christ! Nowhere in scripture does it state that Paul and Silas were troubled. They kept focused on Christ! The Holy Spirit brings peace when we praise and worship through midst of this troubled world.
