About Us

OUR VISION

We are a Christ-exalting, holiness, Spirit-filled, all-nations, disciple-

making, disciple-equipping, church planting movement, with both passion

and dedication to Christ and Christian fellowship.

OUR MISSION

Empowered by the Holy Spirit, through prayer, we will plant churches and

equip leaders to carry out the biblical mandate to disciple all of the peoples

of the world, to the glory of Christ our Lord, the Head of the Church. We will

continue to prepare laborers for the mission field, including preparing both

our youth and children, empowering them to be the leaders of tomorrow.

OUR CORE VALUES

Core Values are operating philosophies or principles that guide an

organization's internal conduct as well as its relationship with the external

world. The leadership of the Church have identified five core values as

follows: Prayer, Harvest, Leadership Development, Biblical Stewardship

and Service.
HISTORY
Ingram Road Family Worship Center (A Ministry of The Church of God of Prophecy) derives from The Church of God movement that began over 100 years ago in the humble hearts of earnest believers in the rural mountains of Cherokee County, North Carolina. Following a miracle-filled revival that took place in a schoolhouse near Camp Creek in 1886, a small congregation formed a Christian Union to pray and study the scriptures.

Soon led by an energetic young pastor from Indiana named A.J. Tomlinson, the group was more formally organized in 1903 into the Church of God and relocated its headquarters to neighboring Cleveland, Tennessee the following year. From Appalachia to the World, the century that followed saw great growth in all the branches of this movement.

From the beginning, these spiritual pioneers traced their roots to the New Testament church and considered themselves a
continuation of the Spirit-filled Christianity exhibited in the book of Acts. This desired connection with early Christian expression continues today with a mandate that all church decisions be committed to prayer, by the guidance of the Holy Spirit within the foundation of Bible scripture.

In contemporary theological terms, the Church of God of Prophecy is a Protestant, Evangelical, Wesleyan holiness, Pentecostal movement that believes in man’s freewill regarding salvation.

Today, The Church of God of Prophecy consists of over 12,098 churches internationally; more than 13,000 preaching points where the gospel is proclaimed; active ministry in 135 nations with National/Regional Offices globally; providing the Gospel message and ministry to Hindu, Buddhist, Muslim, and tribal peoples around the world.
One response to that mission is fulfilled by planting vibrant local churches that will multiply and saturate their cultures. Another primary objective for our mission ministry is developing and utilizing indigenous leaders.
Cooperatively, Global Missions Ministries continue to revision established and initiate new mission challenges from the ministries that comprise the Global Missions Ministries including Harvest Partners, Helping Hand Ministry, and One Child Fund.

Harvest Partners is a mission giving opportunity available through local churches. This partnership assists support in national ministries through what we call HP Mission Giving and Project Giving. Mission Giving provides for a national budget to put in place a national administrative bishop or team providing both a personal and a work allotment to assist in all of the developing and diverse ministries within the nation. HP Project Giving from local churches complements the Helping Hand Ministry – which is an opportunity given for individuals to contribute to active mission projects. Together these combine to assist the nations through ministry support, building construction, transportation vehicles and disaster response to every region within our mission network.

The One Child Fund is not just an outreach about feeding and clothing orphaned and needy children, although these are extremely important in places where food and clothes are so scarce. It is also about expressing the love of Christ to people in desperate need of the Savior, and raising up new leaders for the Harvest. These children are experiencing real hope for the future because of the Christ-like compassion of donors.

This ministry continues to supply monthly orphanage support, education opportunities, construction efforts, and holiday celebrations to our children in the nations of Bulgaria, Haiti, India, Indonesia, Mali, Myanmar, Nepal, Rwanda, Uganda, and Ukraine. Participation in the One Child Fund will help provide needy children with improved health, nutrition, educational opportunities, as well as the chance to know and grow in the love of Jesus.
